Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopaedics is a speciality of dentistry that deals with the supervision, guidance and correction of growing and mature dentofacial structures. It deals with establishing aesthetic harmony along with structural balance and stability of function of teeth and jaws.
It deals with the correction of malaligned teeth, jaw discrepancies using various fixed appliances, removable appliances, myofunctional, orthopaedic appliances, orthognathic surgeries and various aesthetic surgical procedures.

Prof. Dr Sachin Ahuja
Professor & Head
Prof. Dr. Sachin Ahuja has been associated with the Department of Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopaedics, Surendra Dental College and Research Institute from the beginning of this institute in 2003. He joined as an Assistant Professor and is now Professor and Head of the Department. He graduated in dental surgery from Bharati Vidyapeeth Dental College and Hospital, Pune and completed his post graduation from Bapuji Dental College & Hospital, Davangere in the year 2003. He is an academician and a clinician and has presented a number of scientific papers both national and international conferences and has got numerous publications in various journals of dentistry. He has special interest in interceptive orthodontics, biomechanics, cleft lip and palate and interdisciplinary approach. He has also received special training in lingual orthodontics and clear aligner systems which forms a contemporary part of modern orthodontics.
Prof. Dr. Seema Gupta
Professor
Prof. Dr. Seema Gupta joined the Department of Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopaedics in Surendra Dental College & Research Institute in the year 2009. She graduated in Dental surgery from MAHE, Manipal and completed her post graduation from CODS Mangalore, in the year 2006. She has keen interest in academics and has done 35 publications in various national and international journals.
Dr Eenal Bhambri
Reader
Dr Eenal Bhambri joined the Department of Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopaedics, Surendra Dental College & Research Institute as a senior lecturer in the year 2012. She is a graduate in dental surgery from SGRD, Amritsar and completed her post graduation from Gurunanak Dev Dental College, Sunam in 2011.

Dr Amit Choudhary joined the Department of Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopaedics, Surendra Dental college and Research Institute in the year 2015. He has completed his graduation in dental surgery from Dashmesh Institute of Research and Dental Sciences, Faridkot and completed his post graduation from K D Dental College Mathura in the year 2015.
